Eight Matches on Wednesday and Thursday
Both Super League and Football League reached their break time but the players will have to be a little patient before spending the Christmas with their families. The Greek Cup will speed up to complete the Round of 32 and give us the 16 clubs which will make the competition far more interesting than it was until now. Be cautious because some of them have practically secured their qualification from Day 1 and, with most players having their mind on their upcoming holidays, we may witness some more unexpected results.
The Hellenic Football Federation announced the schedule only for the first eight matches with the referees assigned to them:
Proodeftiki – Panathinaikos: Georgios Hatzis
Niki Volou – Panthrakikos: Aristomenis Koutsiaftis
Panionios – Fostiras: Georgios Giannoulakis
Panachaiki – Olympiakos: Alexandros Dimitropoulos
Thrassyvoulos – Veria: Christos Mitsios
Kerkyra – Tyrnavos: Nikolaos Roussos-Bekertzis
AEK – Nea Kavala: Michael Voskakis
Pierikos – Levadiakos: Evaggelos Kiotzenis
The remaining matches and their referees will be published with a new article as soon as they are announced.
Four matches will be held each day (Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday). The previews and betting picks for each day will be available a few hours before kickoff.
