Analysis, previews and value bets on Super League Greece

Both teams are looking for their first win

Levadiakos will have the first real home match of the season today against Panthrakikos. I remind you that their match against Panathinaikos (1-1) was held at OAKA because of some problems they had with the Municipality of Levadia for the use of the local stadium. They will now look for the first win in 2014-15 against Panthrakikos. Their opponents were a very pleasant surprise last season but they look like they need more time to show us what they are capable of. The analysis and betting picks for their battle:

Analysis: Levadiakos – Panthrakikos

Levadiakos scored an early goal in the first minute of the away match against Asteras Tripolis but it was not enough to help them get a positive result. The players of Mr. Pantelidis received two goals (23’, 66’) and they should feel lucky their opponent did not score more (Asteras had two attempts at the bar at 36’ and 74’). Levadiakos is now forced to look for the first win of the season at home where they are stronger. There are two absences reported.

Banned: Kone (MID/2/1 goal)

Injured: Macheras (MID/1)

Panthrakikos was in total control of the last home match against Giannina but they were unlucky to see their opponent scoring first at 32’. Tzanis scored the equalizer at 57’ and Panthrakikos kept looking for a winning goal that never came. It was a very interesting match to watch and my overall impression was that the club from Komotini deserved the three points. Now they are forced to look for their first win in the away battle against Levadiakos. There is one absence reported.

Banned: –

Injured: Romeu (MID/0)

Betting Pick: Panthrakikos (+0.5) to win @ 1.80

Levadiakos was very strong at home last season but Panthrakikos was one the few teams that escaped with a positive result (2-2). They also did it the previous season with a spectacular 0-3 win. From what I have watched so far, both teams have failed to keep a clean sheet but Panthrakikos looks more reliable. My guess is that they will not lose again.
