Difficult match for Levadiakos
Levadiakos is still in search of the first win of the season. The bookies have decided to offer their “expected” win against AOK Kerkyra in low odds. I cannot help wondering if they have forgotten that AOK Kerkyra deserved the win in the away match against Xanthi (0-0), the same opponent that forced Levadiakos to a defeat (2-0) last week. The preview and value bets:
Analysis: Levadiakos – AOK Kerkyra
Levadiakos was defeated in the last away match from Xanthi (2-0) after an average performance. The home team scored first at 37’ and things became more difficult for coach Pantelidis at 77’ when his team was left with a man down (second yellow card at Zito). The second goal came at 90’ (Cleyton) when the team risked too much for a late equalizer. Levadiakos also had a midweek match for the Greek Cup against Iraklis 1908 (1-1 away). The first goal was conceded at 9’ but the performance of the team improved during the second half and their equalizer at 59’ was enough to avoid the defeat.
Absences: Sifakis (GK/0), Pinter (DEF/4), Magas (DEF/1), Apostolopoulos (MID/0)
AOK Kerkyra had two consecutive matches against PAS Giannina. Their win in the first match (Super League) was not as easy as the final score shows (2-0). An own goal by Michail gave them the lead at 29’ but Giannina did not give up. In fact they had many good chances to get back in the match. The second goal by Zorbas at 94’ secured the win. They faced the same opponent in a midweek match for the Greek Cup but this time they lost by 1-0. There are two absences reported for the next match.
Injured: Cardozo (MID/3), Paraskevaidis (MID/0)
Betting Pick: AOK Kerkyra (+0.5) to win @ 2.30
From the things that I have watched so far, AOK Kerkyra looks stronger than most teams that are aiming to avoid relegation. Levadiakos is not an exception despite the fact they are stronger at home. AOK Kerkyra can get the win @ 5.00 although it will not be easy. I believe we’ll see goals from both sides @ 2.10 and a result if Over 2.5 goals @ 2.40.
